Police in Luxembourg are investigating a string of break-ins affecting homes and vehicles, including incidents in Hollerich, Mamer, Mersch, and the Gare neighbourhood in the capital.

The Luxembourg police have reported a series of burglaries targeting both residential properties and vehicles across the Grand Duchy in recent days.

In Hollerich, a flat located in a block on Rue Auguste Neyen was broken into on Monday evening. The burglars stole an unspecified amount of cash before fleeing the scene. A similar incident occurred in Mamer, where unknown intruders broke into a flat on Rue Raoul Follereau and escaped with cash.

Vehicles were not spared either. In Mersch, police successfully apprehended two suspects following reports of several car break-ins. Meanwhile, in the Gare neighbourhood in Luxembourg City, two cars parked on Rue André Duchscher were targeted by thieves, who remain at large.
