Several accidents occurred in various locations across the country on Thursday night. The police revoked two driving licences.

At around 7pm on Thursday evening, a motorist in Mondorf crashed into a traffic sign. After the police discovered that the man was heavily inebriated, they decided to withdraw his licence.

Another drunk driver caused problems on the A3 towards Luxembourg City near Aire de Berchem. She caused an accident and had to be taken to hospital. The police withdrew her driving licence.

A motorist in Strassen sped through a speed check on Route d’Arlon at 83 km/h. The speed limit in this area is 50 km/h. Instead of pulling over, the driver attempted to flee onto the A6, but she was quickly apprehended by police. She received a fine, but because her breathalyser test result was below 1.2‰, she was allowed to keep her driving licence.

At around 3.30am, an accident occurred on the CR186 in Kockelscheuer. A car skidded and then collided with a street lamp, landing upside down in a ditch. The driver was not injured.
