Investigation launchedBurglary confirmed at Ministry of Development Cooperation

An annexe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, situated on Rue de la Congrégation in Luxembourg City, was broken into on Thursday night.

Police sources report that an unidentified individual gained unauthorised access to the building at around 4am, making off with two laptops and a backpack. Forensic teams were despatched to the scene, and an ongoing investigation is underway.

The targeted building not only houses the Ministry of Foreign Affairs but also serves as the location for press conferences following Government Council meetings. The building is located between the state canteen and the Ministry of State.
