
The party proposes making the road more accessible to cyclists in both directions through urbanist refurbishment, and allocating more space to pedestrians, while maintaining terraces and trees as they are.
This would mean closing the bottom part of Avenue Pasteur to through traffic in order to create a shared space. Ideally, the entire length of the street should be limited to local traffic. This would require a change in traffic routing and a 30 kph zone.
But the political courage to implement this was lacking in the current DP-CSV majority, said Déi Gréng. The current isolated measures aren’t making anyone happy - be it residents or cyclists.
