“An individual was found dead in a foyer at around 5 am this [Sunday] morning. He was an asylum seeker of Pakistani nationality”, said the public prosecutor’s office, confirming a report in Le Républicain lorrain. “An individual was arrested not far from the foyer around twenty minutes later and taken into custody on murder charges”.
The victim had received several stab wounds.
An autopsy is due to be carried out in the next few days.
