On Monday evening, at around 10pm, two masked and armed individuals entered a bar on Route de Belvaux in Oberkorn. The suspects demanded the contents of the cash register before fleeing the scene.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident. Authorities do not know in which direction they escaped – police have launched an investigation into the robbery.
In a separate incident on Monday afternoon in Gasperich, three teenagers were robbed by a group of youths. The assailants took several personal items from the victims but were quickly identified by police. Stolen goods were recovered from three of the suspects and returned to their rightful owners.
