Each year, AEHDL coordinates the collection of clothes and shoes for individuals of all ages, including adults, adolescents, and children. Additionally, textiles such as towels, bed linen, belts, hats, and other items are also welcomed. The collection effort involves the participation of 90 local authorities, which contribute lorries, drivers, and staff to facilitate the process.

In a statement, the non-profit emphasised that all clothes in good condition will be redistributed for continued use. Unusable items are either processed by specialised companies or properly disposed of.

The proceeds from the clothing collection campaign benefit disabled children and adolescents residing in the 92 homes across Luxembourg. These donations enable them to partake in recreational activities such as outings to the cinema or other events.

For those unable to participate during the designated collection period, donations can still be made year-round by using any of the 186 white clothes containers located throughout Luxembourg.
