A person was injured in an accident on the Herrenberg hill in Diekirch on Monday afternoon. Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were despatched to the scene of the crash. No further details are available at present.
Another accident occurred on the A13 half an hour later. Two cars were involved in a collision, but no injuries were reported.
Around the same time, another two-vehicle collision took place on the Route de Luxembourg in Lamadelaine, with one person sustaining injuries.
Two cars also caught fire on Monday, one in Rodange, the other in Haller. Firefighters were able to bring both blazes under control, with no injuries reported in either case.
