A subcontractor of the National Lottery (Loterie Nationale) has been the victim of a cyber attack, resulting in stolen data.

Customer data such as names, addresses, phone numbers and bank details have been stolen as part of the breach, the National Lottery said in a statement.

However, passwords and credit card details have not been affected. Everyone who could be affected by the breach has already been informed. The Data Protection Commission has also been notified of the attack.

The subcontractor in question is responsible for maintaining the loteriesport.lu platform, which remains accessible.
