Product recallE. coli bacteria detected in Auchan 'Morbier' cheese

The Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) announced on Wednesday that Escherichia coli bacteria (STEC) have been detected in Auchan Terroir brand “Morbier” cheese.

Consumers are strongly advised not to consume the affected products.

The alert applies to specific batches with use-by dates between 6 and 27 February 2025. The affected lot numbers are as follows:

• 10/02/2025 - 362
• 13/02/2025 - 365
• 14/02/2025 - 366
• 16/02/2025 - 002
• 17/02/2025 - 003
• 20/02/2025 - 006
• 20/02/2025 - 007
• 24/02/2025 - 010
• 27/02/2025 - 013
• 27/02/2025 - 014

The products were sold at Auchan stores between 26 December 2024 and 19 February 2025.
