Several key areas, including Bettembourg and Dommeldange, will face train service suspensions and road closures during the upcoming Easter and summer holidays, as maintenance and renovations are set to begin across multiple stretches of track.
The Bettembourg area will again be impacted, with train services at the station suspended during the Easter holidays (April 5–21 April) and the summer holidays (12 July – 14 September).
In addition, the barrier in Dommeldange, near the Clinique d'Eich, will be removed, and from June onward, the road will be closed to traffic.
From 24 March to 4 April, train services between Luxembourg City and Rodange, continuing to Athus and Longwy, will be disrupted due to the installation of new switches.
Train traffic between Luxembourg City and Arlon, via Klengbetten, will be interrupted three times – in February, April, and May – during school holidays for the refurbishment of a six-kilometre stretch of the track.
Similarly, the line between the Luxembourg City and Diekirch will be affected during the summer holidays, with 5.5km of track being renovated.
