Families in Luxembourg are invited to a Family Day at Cercle Cité on 1 February 2025, from 11am to 6pm. This free event blends art, culture, and fun, offering something for every age group.
The programme features interactive workshops, including storytelling with mask-making, pre-cinema activities like thaumatropes and flipbooks, and origami inspired by Luxembourg’s literary heritage. Budding artists can explore painting techniques, while young manga enthusiasts can develop their skills under the guidance of Sabrina Kaufmann. For those seeking adventure, children aged 8–11 can join a sensory theatre workshop to craft immersive landscapes.
Families can also enjoy wooden toys, board games, and reading corners, while the day concludes with a performance by the Orchestra of Teachers from the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg at 5pm.
Workshops are available in multiple languages and require prior registration for certain activities. Everyone is welcome to join this community celebration at Cercle Cité, Place d’Armes.
