A 36-year-old man accused of murdering a 63-year-old woman by strangling her with a hairdryer cord is set to stand trial in Luxembourg City, with several experts to take the stand on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The trial of a 36-year-old man suspected to have killed a 63-year-old woman by strangling her with a hairdryer cord in 2023 is set to begin in Luxembourg City on Tuesday. The defendant is facing murder and homicide charges and has been in pre-trial detention in Sanem since 13 May 2023.
A number of experts are expected to take the stand on Tuesday and Wednesday, including a coroner and a psychiatrist, to determine the defendant's criminal responsibility.
