François Colling born in 1940 in Esch-sur-Alzette, was a Luxembourgish engineer and politician. In 1979, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies on the CSV’s electoral list and was re-elected in 1984, 1989 and 1994.
Between 1984 and 1995, he was the President of the CSV’s parliamentary group and from 1996 to 2006, he was a member of the European Court of Auditors.
François Colling was the son of former CSV-Minister for Labour and Social Security, medical doctor and author Émile Colling.
