Educational optionsNew platform atSchool.lu centralises childcare and school searches in Luxembourg

RTL Today
A new online platform, atSchool.lu, has launched to simplify the search for childcare and educational institutions in Luxembourg, particularly benefiting first-generation parents and newcomers.

The platform offers a centralised hub for navigating the complexities of the country’s educational system, allowing users to explore 497 childcare centres and 216 schools, covering both public and private options.

Designed for newcomers

The platform is the brainchild of Ramazan Yuksel, a digital expert and former product director at atHome.lu, Luxembourg’s real estate platform. Yuksel’s own experiences as a parent navigating Luxembourg’s educational options inspired him to create a tool for others in the same position. “After helping newcomers find their property, I now want to assist parents in choosing the right education for their children,” he explained.

With an intuitive interface, atSchool.lu allows parents to search for institutions by key criteria such as language of instruction, educational system, and whether they are public or private. Additionally, the platform provides access to Google reviews and details on tuition fees, making it easier for families to make informed decisions.

Mobile first

Optimised for mobile devices and available in both English and French, atSchool.lu offers a user-friendly experience for busy parents on the go. In its current form, the platform is designed to adapt to the needs of users and institutions. Future plans are the possible integration of artificial intelligence, providing personalised recommendations for each family’s situation.
