A number of homes were broken into overnight, according to police reports.

One such incident occurred in Tuntange in the early hours of Wednesday morning, where a burglar gained access to a property through the garage. Fortunately, a police patrol was able to capture the thief, and a report was filed.

A further break-in was reported on Rue Pierre Thinnes in Bonnevoie, where the intruder searched a number of cupboards before he was discovered by the resident. He promptly fled the scene. Police have launched an investigation.
