Last Monday evening at around 6.30pm, a Serbian lorry driver found himself stranded in Luxembourg due to a broken clutch.

Marc Elsen, a farmer from Imbringen, reported that the driver was stranded for more than 60 hours. The breakdown occurred on Elsen's farm, where the driver had just delivered machinery. The lorry driver was scheduled to make another delivery but was unable to proceed due to the mechanical failure.

However, the driver's company insisted that the repair be carried out by one of its own mechanics rather than a local Luxembourg mechanic. As a result, the driver was stuck in Imbringen for nearly three days. During this time, farmer Marc Elsen showed compassion and provided food and drink to the stranded driver.

It was not until around 11.30pm on Wednesday, two days later, that the breakdown service finally arrived from Serbia. A mechanic immediately began repairing the lorry's clutch at Marc Elsen's farm.

By 6am the next morning, the lorry was back on the road, and the driver continued to his next delivery.
