According to a CFL statement, trains on line 10 experienced disruption on Thursday following an incident on the railway between the capital and Dommeldange.
Rail replacement buses have been introduced between the Luxembourg City main station and Dommeldange in both directions. These services will also cover Kirchberg.
The Dommeldange level crossing was closed until further notice, CFL added.
Emergency services and CFL engineers were on site at the time of writing, with the aim of restoring a normal service as soon as possible. CFL said it expected to resume services "slowly" from 4.30pm onwards, although passengers can expect residual delays and potential cancellations.
