RTL.lu recently asked readers to share and vote on their favourite playgrounds across the country. Here are the results.
Once voting concluded, RTL sent two highly-qualified young experts to investigate the top three playgrounds as selected by readers, to see if their experiences matched up.

The Top Three
1. Bambësch
Deep in the forest above the capital lies the Bambësch playground, which received 3,563 votes from RTL readers. Recently renovated, the large sensory play area is themed around the city's historical landmarks, and also has ziplines, climbing walls and a splash pad to keep little ones busy, as well as walking trails through the surrounding woods. With picnic areas, toilets, plentiful parking and a new bus route from the city, the playground has all you need for a fun day out.
2. Fuussekaul campsite
The Fuussekaul campground play areas were highly ranked by readers, winning 3,504 votes. The campsite offers a number of outdoor playgrounds, suitable for all ages, and even has a five-floor indoor soft play area for days when the weather refuses to cooperate.
3. The pirate ship
A classic attraction in the capital which recently underwent renovations, the pirate ship playground on Av. Monterey will entertain would-be swashbucklers for hours. With water features, slides, and the enormous ship itself, the playground's central location and nearby amenities won it 3,492 votes from RTL's readers.
