As the annual fair looms, preparations are due to begin this weekend at the Glacis in Luxembourg City.

The first phase of preparations will launch at 10pm on Saturday 29 July with the closure of a portion of the Glacis car park. The second part will be closed to cars from Saturday 6 August.

The next phase begins on 12 August, when Avenue de la Faïencerie will be closed to traffic between Allée Scheffer and Boulevard de la Foire until 14 September.  The "Rond-point Schuman" car park will also be closed from midnight 23 August until 1am on 12 September 12, except for users with a subscription, according to a press release issued by the Luxembourg City municipal council.
