As part of this year’s ‘Summer in the City’ programme, the town council has decided to once again hold the family-friendly literary event ‘The City Reads’.

Following the success of previous editions, literature aficionados will again find delight in the ancient Athénée’s courtyard, transformed into a vibrant open-air library. In a relaxed atmosphere, both locals and visitors of the capital can enjoy reading a book, magazine, or newspaper whilst comfortably seated under the sprawling tree that majestically presides over the centre of the courtyard.

The organisers have compiled an eclectic range of books catering to readers of all ages. Alongside this array of reading materials, several reading sessions and workshops have been planned as part of the event programme.

There will be events in Luxembourgish, German, French, and English. For a full overview of the programme, please visit the event website.

Mark your calendars and get your reading glasses ready - this year’s ‘The City Reads’ promises to be another literary summer sensation.
