
After the petition gathered more than 4,800 signatures, the author of the proposal will now have a chance to present the issue to the petition commission in the Chamber of Deputies.
However, the signatures will first have to be confirmed. Furthermore, it was recently decided that all pending petitions with the necessary signatures will not be publicly debated before the legislative elections in October, which means that the next administration will be in charge of listening to proposals.
