The airline will also lease two Boeing 737-8 aircraft from summer 2023 until 2027, to be operated by Luxair crew. This decision was taken to cover the fleet’s needs while waiting for the four new planes.
The new aircraft, described as more comfortable and modern, will use less fuel and offer more capacity for passengers and cargo, according to the Luxair press release.
