More than 4,100 daily passengers are transported by the funicular from Pfaffenthal to Kirchberg and vice versa. On weekdays, the number of passengers can even reach up to 7,000 people.
The funicular went into operation five years ago and has been an important tool for transportation in Luxembourg’s capital ever since.
