The incident occurred on the N7 at 5.30pm on Sunday.

A bus driver was attacked and injured by a passenger at a bus stop on the N7. A police patrol was able to arrive swiftly to identify the presumed suspect. The bus driver was brought to a hospital for a medical check-up.

It remains unclear what led to the attack, or whether the bus driver suffered injuries.

Two licenses lost

In Beckerich, a drink driver caused an accident and totalled her car. Fortunately, the woman did not suffer any injuries. Police revoked her license at the scene.

Around 11.30pm, police were alerted to a reckless motorist in Grevenmacher. Officers identified the car in question soon after and revoked the driver's license after he tested positive for alcohol.
