Luxembourg has received little and sporadic rain recently. On social media, the national weather service Météolux notes that precipitation has unfortunately been very low.
In fact, Météolux stresses that the Grand Duchy is heading for the driest summer since 1947.
According to EU experts, Luxembourg is one of the countries where the risk of droughts is increasing.
