In this context, the General Federation of Local Government (FGFC) also demanded official responses to the findings from Taina Bofferding, Minister for Home Affairs, and Emile Eicher, President of the Association of Luxembourg Cities and Municipalities (Syvicol).

The Pirate Party demanded that the matter be looked into further in the form of a committee meeting with Minister for Home Affairs Taina Bofferding at the Chamber of Deputies after several articles in the press about grievances at the Intercommunal Syndicate for IT Management (SIGI).

The FGFC issued a statement on Tuesday, describing SIGI Director Carlo Gambucci as "autocratic and self-important," and criticising municipalities for "not caring" about the numerous internal problems at SIGI. In a series of articles on reporter.lu, several former SIGI employees accused the management of bullying its workers and creating a "climate of fear". In 2021 alone, the intercommunal syndicate allegedly lost nearly 40 of its 140 staff members.
