Half of Luxembourg's workforce crosses the border every day to work in the Grand Duchy.

The Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) has conducted a survey among Belgian nationals who accepted a job offer in Luxembourg between 2014 and 2016. The results show that the people coming to Luxembourg are either highly skilled or barely skilled workers.

However, other factors also come into play, including age, proximity to the border, and previous work experiences in Luxembourg.
