Gasperich has been the home of Luxembourg’s leading daily newspaper since the 1970s. Mediahuis has not stated when Luxemburger Wort and the Portuguese newspaper Contacto will begin printing in Belgium. On Tuesday, Paul Peckels, CEO of Mediahuis Luxembourg (previously Saint-Paul Luxembourg), merely said that the Gasperich premises must be vacated by the first quarter of 2024.
Machines and other technical installations will be sold or offered as spare parts to printing companies.
