Government officials have unveiled the new Mobility Plan 2035, which is designed to help manage traffic in Luxembourg in light of an ever-growing population.
The 300-page-long document presents a number of projects of different proportions, which are all to be implemented by 2035. Plans include new railways, tram routes, boulevards, motorway interchanges, as well as 'Park&Ride' sites. The full plan can be downloaded from this government website.
Over the coming weeks, Minister for Mobility and Public Works François Bausch is expected to tour the country and present details about the plan to local officials and residents. On Monday, the Greens politician will launch his tour with a presentation at the 'Tramsshapp' in Limpertsberg.
