Over 800 board games can be found in Jacqueline Poupart’s café “Bei de Minettsdäpp”, situated only a few minutes’ walk from the train station in Esch-sur-Alzette.
Opened in February, it is already very popular, with a surprising breadth of guests, including young people eager to socialise in person and get away from their mobiles after years of pandemic isolation.
The café is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and there are themed events such as pub quizzes or introductions into role playing games.
