RTL Today Radio, the brand-new radio in English

Imagine taking your favourite website – RTL Today – and putting it into a magic machine that distils everything that makes that website awesome into a mysterious audio juice, and somehow takes that juice and transforms it into a digital radio station. That’s exactly what we did, except for the bit with the machine. We also added a sprinkle of Sam Steen, a dash of Stephen Lowe, a dollop of Melissa Dalton, and a pinch of Meredith Moss into the mix, which made the juice even tastier… or the radio even better, if you want to be technical about it.

RTL Today Radio is the heartbeat of Luxembourg, bringing together news, local events, insights into life in the Grandest Duchy of them all, traffic, weather, sports, chat, games, and much more. Much like the website, the radio is fun, friendly, interactive, and always a part of the community available to everyone and anyone. All day, every day!

With three live shows Monday to Friday as well as a solid and ever-expanding line-up of weekend shows, RTL Today Radio is also Luxembourg’s only round-the-clock English radio offer. When there’s no live show on, we’ll play a unique mix of music curated by none other than the walking music encyclopedia that is Stephen 'Steps' Lowe. Whether you prefer classic hits, or songs by up-and-coming artists and local talents, there will be something for everyone.

We will be announcing the winner of our FIRST SONG PLAYED competition where we put a call out for Luxembourg's musicians to send us a new track that will have the honour of being the very first song played on our station. Be sure to listen in at 6am when Sam Steen reveals the lucky winner(s).

• The Lunchbox with Stephen “Steps” Lowe: Playing the best new music first. The place one goes to discover their new favourite band. Fun, funny & friendly.
• The Home Stretch with Melissa Dalton: Get home happy with Melissa Dalton’s mix of fun games, engaging stories and big tunes you’ll want to sing along to.
• Talking Music: Broadcast on Saturday mornings this hour-long special features weekly guests from Luxembourg’s venues as they preview their monthly programme and interviews with bands and artists.
• The Lisa Burke Show: A weekly magazine show with a news roundup, culture section and an interview with interesting people from Luxembourg’s society e.g., from the worlds of art, literature, science, and politics.
• The DB3 Show: Each Saturday David “DB3” Burrowes takes a deep dive in to Luxembourg’s vibrant music scene, discovering and introducing the many talented artists working in Luxembourg. With occasional live interviews and performances. On Sundays he will present a more eclectic mix of new and classic tracks.
• The UK Chart Show: Hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Early Breakfast presenter, Elliot Darby, this is a weekly look at the UK’s biggest selling singles.
• The Ben Andrews Show: A specially curated mix of future hits, current favourites, and classic tunes with one of Luxembourg’s longest serving presenters Ben Andrews.
• Letz Talk Sport: A fun and candid weekly look at the biggest sports stories from around the world with a special focus on local sports, Luxembourg Rugby International Scott Browne and Former professional squash player turned coach Nathan Sneyd.
