The Grand Ducal police have reported instances of a phishing email purporting to be sent on behalf of the general director of the police. It claims to be contacting private individuals in relation to a criminal investigation. The police have confirmed these emails are fakes and must be ignored at all costs.
Should you receive such a message, it is advised to delete the email without reply.
