23 detainees tested positive earlier this month and an additional 60 are quarantined. Internal movements in the prison therefore continue to be limited.
Visits are still possible, although no more than two people are allowed per inmate and they have to sit behind plexiglas.
Sanitary measures at the Schrassig facility have thus been extended until 7 December.
