As the first company in Luxembourg, Losch Lëtzebuerg put two hyperchargers into operation at their location in Junglinster on 28 June 2021. They are publicly accessible at any time of the day. Up to four cars can be charged simultaneously, with up to 300 kW (1 X 150kW and 1 X 300 kW). Depending on the car and the charging capacity, a vehicle can be charged in under 30 minutes.
During the first month, over 1,000 kWh were charged at the stations in Junglinster, with a maximum charging capacity of up to 270 kW.
The project was carried out by SIWO, a brand owned by the Losch Group, and has been integrated into the Chargy Network. They are publicly accessible through the SIWO app and the SIWO charging key and thus “Super ChargyOK”.

Upon enquiry, Losch Lëtzebuerg stated that for the time being, there are no plans to install additional hyperchargers in Luxembourg. In a first stage, the group wants to analyse the usage of the stations in Junglinster and gain experience, before tackling new projects.
