LuxembourgCapital places third on Airinc list of most attractive cities worldwide

AIRINC’s Global 150 Cities Index is a ranking of 150 of the top global locations “according to the financial and lifestyle benefits they offer”.

Data compiled in the areas of local salary levels, tax rates, living costs and living conditions results in the overall ‘appeal’ each location has to live in.

Airinc’s results are geared toward expat compensation and mobility issues.

The top ten ‘Overall Attractiveness’ ranking is as follows:

1. Zurich, Switzerland
2. Geneva, Switzerland
3. Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
4. Munich, Germany
5. Calgary AB, Canada
6. Dubai, U.A.E
7. New York, USA
8. Houston, USA
9. Vienna, USA
10. Denver, USA

In regards to ‘Lifestyle Rank’, Luxembourg drop down to number 21, with Prague, Zurich and Vienna taking the top spots.

From the 150 cities vying for pole position in terms of financial ranking, Luxembourg can only make the top 15. Manama, Bahrain; George Town, Cayman Islands and Zurich again rounding out the top slots.
