The state is supporting local actors around the Upper Sûre Lake in the organisation of beach-related tourism.

Fees for a ticket service and security will be covered by the state, this between 15 May and 15 August 2021. This was announced by Minister for Spatial Planning Claude Turmes, Minister for Tourism Lex Delles, and Minister of Health Paulette Lenert.

On all six beaches, an employee of a private security company will ensure compliance with Covid-19 regulations.

Access to the beaches will remain free.

The regional tourism office of the Oesling region and the Upper Sûre Nature Park will reveal further details next week.
