The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs have taken the decision to extend the travel restriction for people arriving in the Grand Duchy via plane.
All passengers above the age of six need a negative Covid test that is no older than 72 hours before boarding a plane destined for Luxembourg. The test results need to be printed out and have to be in one of the country's three official language, or, alternatively, in English, Portuguese, Spanish, or Italian.
However, starting Thursday, people landing at Findel airport after returning from a non-EU country no longer need to take a rapid test. All pertinent details and explanations regarding travel restrictions can be found at covid19.lu.
Germany is set to introduce the same measures on Tuesday, which means that people flying to the state now also need a negative test result before boarding a plane.
