The mandates of all members of the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party were renewed for one year at their annual LSAP congress.

The Socialists understand that the tax reform will not be implemented as planned - there simply is little room for manoeuvring at this stage. The LSAP calls for tax relief on income tax, while other forms, including rents, real estate sales, dividends or sales of shares on the stock market should be taxed higher.

The LSAP strongly opposes a collaboration with the CSV where voices of the neoliberal, reactionary and nationalist right are mixed. "While the others spend their time tearing each other to pieces, the Socialists continue to fight the pandemic in a calm manner" concluded Kersch.
