The CSV politician made his return to the Chamber last week after having been out of politics for four months due to burnout.

The MP entered therapy back in September last year, which has now come to a conclusion. The 54-year-old politician will thus be back on the Chamber floor to participate in debates and votes.

However, Eischen will not return to the post of CSV's secretary general, a role from which he also abdicated in September. Party colleague Paul Galles will continue filling the position until a new secretary general can be elected during the CSV congress in April.

Eischen will also celebrate his formal return as Mayor of Kehlen, where LSAP councilman Guy Scholtes took over during the past months.

The former RTL employee has been mayor since 2017 and a Member of Parliament for CSV since 2009.
