Lorrainer Jérôme Grandidier, who had a successful entrepreneurial career in Luxembourg, died suddenly of coronavirus at the age of 50.
Jérôme Grandidier passed away at Kirchberg Hospital.
He was the creator and president of LuxFactory and My Luxembourg, and had been battling with Covid-19 for several weeks.
On 13 November, despite his hospitalisation, talented entrepreneur and father Jérôme still posted a message of support for his teams and local traders on Facebook.
As detailed in Paperjam, Jérôme Grandidier, originally from Nancy, "was a real serial entrepreneur". He notably transformed Sit Group into Telecom Luxembourg Private Operator (acquired in 2016 by the French group Nomotech), but also chaired its LuxFactory advisory group, and organised the Luxembourg Village at CES in Las Vegas. He also launched My Sardines in 2019 and was behind the My Luxembourg Facebook page.
RTL would like to offer their sincere condolences to Jérôme's family and friends.
