The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 147 new cases of coronavirus were discovered yesterday.

No further deaths were reported, leaving the total for the Grand Duchy at 124.

8,951 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.

Zero patients are in intensive care (unchanged), while 23 people are in standard hospital care, up one since Wednesday.

The effective reproduction rate (Rt_eff) now lies at 1.22.

There are now 776 active infections in Luxembourg and 6,641 patients have recovered from the new disease.
