The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 83 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of cases to 6,272, while deaths remain at 112.

74 residents and 9 non-residents tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

399,477 tests have been carried out in Luxembourg since the start of the outbreak, with 5,994 tests carried out on Saturday.

There are currently 1,298 active infections in the Grand Duchy. Weekend updates do not take into account hospitalisations. Friday's figures can be located here.

The effective reproduction rate (Rt_eff) has dropped to 1.01 while the (Rt) reproduction rate fell to 1.27.
