The overall number of tests conducted in Luxembourg since the beginning of the outbreak now stands at 98,232, meaning 7,029 tests were completed in the last 24 hours alone.
One patient is currently in intensive care, while 17 remain in standard hospital care (35 on Wednesday).
Luxembourg has so far recorded a total of 940 hospital recoveries, two more than in yesterday’s update. There are currently 32 active infections in Luxembourg.
The reproduction rate (Rt) of the virus still lies at 0.997. The effective reproduction rate (Rt_eff) climbed to 0.810.
