The global pandemic has forced Luxair to take drastic measures. On Tuesday, the airline announced that all its flights would be suspended until Sunday 3 May. Trips organised by LuxairTours are to be cancelled up to and including 15 May.
The company statement relates the health and security of their passengers as their upmost priority. “Over the past couple of days, we have channeled all our efforts and resources to repatriate thousands of clients, spread across Europe and Northern Africa. We have also put into place an exceptional commercial approach to cover the cancellation costs of our flights as well as possible.”
Clients of LuxairTours will thus be given vouchers corresponding to the amount they already spent on a booking. However, the company asks their trusted clients to give them time to settle these matters and get back to them in due time.
