A European school will open its doors in Reuler from the start of the 2020-2021 school year.
Following the schools offering general European education in Junglinster, Differdange and Mondorf, a European primary school will open near the town of Clervaux later this year.
Administratively, the school will be attached to the Edward Steichen High School (LESC) but the school complex will be located in Reuler.
Students who follow the European curriculum will have to master two languages in addition to their native language.
In response to the Luxemburger Wort, the deputy director of LESC added that learning Luxembourgish would be compulsory for students of foreign origin.
The French and English sections will launch in September 2020.
