After a series of nine 'difficult' meetings, trade union OGBL has signed a redundancy plan with automotive parts maker Delphi Technologies.
The trade union announced the news on Wednesday morning, revealing that the number of employees due to lose their jobs has been reduced from 300 to 243. According to the OGBL, the number remains quite high, but could be reduced further with pre-retirement offers and internal transfers.
The negotiations began in November 2019, when the firm announced it would be carrying out restructuring plans.
