The 9th edition of the Steampunk convention is taking place in Fond-du-Gras this weekend. As always, the impressive costumes are a little sensation.

Extravagant costumes, a lot of entertainment and technological creations are the reason for the success of this event, which has been organised in Fond-de-Gras since 2011.

Steampunks are people who are inspired by the industrial revolution. They come from all over Europe to share their culture with Luxembourgers and to be admired by visitors.

Minett Park Fond-de-Gras, who organises the event, has put together a programme for all ages. Visitors can look forward to street art, a puppet theatre, illusionism, barrel organs and much more.

On a victorian market with over 50 booths, visitors can find clothes, accessories, jewellery, decorations and steampunk collectibles.

Visitors can enjoy traditional dishes such as Flammkuchen or Crêpes. Vegetarian options are also available. In addition, a bakery as well as a cocktail bar and beer booth, offering 17 different kinds of beer, are on site.

Entrance is free.
