
The cases in which the night’s rest was disturbed mostly involved private events, neighbours who were too loud or cafés that played music too loudly. In most cases, the private individuals or event organisers were reasonable and complied immediately. In some cases even, the police were unable to detect any noise when they arrived on the scene.
A number of disputes were also reported to the police. Most of these had been resolved by the time the officers arrived, or it turned out that the arguments were only verbal and that none of the people involved had requested police assistance.
However, one person was placed in an overnight cell because he was drunk and harassing other people at the station. The man was also uncooperative towards the police and refused to leave the area voluntarily.
