A serious accident occurred on Tuesday evening shortly after 8pm at a climbing gym in Soleuvre, when a 37-year-old man fell from a height of seven metres.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the injured man, who was in a life-threatening condition, was taken to hospital. Despite medical intervention, he succumbed to his severe injuries during the night.
Police forensic teams were dispatched to the climbing gym to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident. At the request of the public prosecutor's office, an autopsy has also been ordered.
